I mean I must admit that in my vibrant 20's I needed little to keep me going except a
Slim Fast and Milky Way!
(Hey- Don't judge me people...It works..you should try it!)
NOW...fast forward huh hem...10+ years later and I just can't seem to break it. I drive out of my way to find it, I stop what I am doing because I "NEEEED" it, I revolve my errands around it, my kids think I am *Cranky* without it, and even hubs has fallen under the spell.
Apparently, I am NOT the only one in this situation...it took some digging but here we go with some of the more interesting Starbucks establishments around the world.
Remember when it was weird to see the golden arches in Mexico? I think our entire world has just become sooo under caffinated that Starbucks felt the need to "Caffenate" the WORLD.
Tokyo, Japan
Beijing, China
Dubai,
Moscow, Russia
Pahang,
Seoul, Korea
Malasia
AND This...This is where all the magic began! Until this...
The best part of wakin up was FOLGERS in your cup!
Oh thank you to Seattle Washington! My favorite used to be iced coffee with room for cream cinnamon dulce...now it is tall iced coffee in a grande cup with room for cream & pumpkin spice. HOly Goodness & of course a side of pumpkin loaf.
ReplyDeleteI'm under that same spell! I love my morning coffee!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to know that if and when I want to travel the world I can get me my Java fix! I love me the coffee my friend! LOL In fact, I'm drinking some right now!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Kim
I splurge for a Venti non-fat, no-whip, pumpkin spice latte this time of year. Sometimes with an extra shot of expresso. Or a Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm being good I skip the Cream Cheese Pumpkin Muffin. :-)
Oh Tara, I just sat down with my home brewed cup of joe but it doesn't come close to the goodness of Starbucks {BIG sigh}. I love it all! The lattes, and cappuccinos, and mochas, and frapps, and of course I gotta go with the pumpkin everything now that fall is here. Now that I've moved, the closest one is 30 minutes away! :o( But it is comforting to know that I can have a yummy cup over seas and across the border :o) Look how cute the one in China is!
ReplyDeleteI must be the only person in the whole world that doesn't like coffee!! I just don't get that whole big deal, but hey now if it was Hot Chocolate I'd be right there with you! lol
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the smell of coffee, but I can not aquire a taste for it. I used to think that when I grew up, it would come automatically, but so far, I'm 39 yrs. old, and it hasn't happened yet. However, those that know me would certainly say that I'm really not that grown up, so that might explain it. I'm actually a little jealous of all you coffee lovers out there - I feel very left out not being able to order such cool names & join the coffee club. I don't look sophisticated or intelligent reading the newspaper in a coffee house. And somehow drinking a Diet Dr. Pepper with my bagel or pumpkin loaf, just doesn't look as cool. So, for now, when I go to Starbucks with my coffee loving friends, I order a hot chocolate (like a kid) but I sit and sip it, pretending to fit in.
ReplyDeleteTotal weekness...coffee. I just kicked the soda habit(4weeks) and counting. I was going to try to break the one cup of coffee in the morning habit...I just CANT DO IT!! I tried yesterday and by 9:30 I was running errands just dragging, when what should appear before my half closed eyes....STARBUCKS!!!
ReplyDeleteHere in the Northeast, we do have Starbucks, but Dunkin' Donuts rules. :) A nice blueberry coffee with cream and sugar does the trick!
ReplyDeleteYesterday,
ReplyDeleteI had a 3 shot espresso latte with sugar free caramel and soy milk. I was so tired I came home and slept an hour....even with all that espresso.
Blessings, andrea
I have been to that one in Korea!!! Isn't that the coolest? I may have to post a picture of that. I have also been to the birthplace in Seattle. This was a fun post (although I have an embarrassing confession- I saw the cup image and I was crossing my fingers for a giveaway).
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I can get a great cup of joe wherever I might go. :D I'd indulge in a mocha or peppermint mocha 'cuz a gal has to have chocolate! :D
ReplyDeletemmm Caramel fraps or caramel machiattos. Man I wish we had a Starbucks where I live and not 45 mins away. I haven't had their coffee in forever!
ReplyDeleteGive me an unpretentious Dunkin Donuts medium iced with cream and splenda any day! Sorry, but havig to use a word like vente (venti??) to order my coffee makes me a nervous wreck!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you...but I will take a vente non-fat latte please! I have to say that Starbucks is 20+ minutes away and once, or twice if desperate, a week I drive the way for the drink. Sure it may sound CRAZY...but hey it gives me time away :o

Tarah!
ReplyDeleteAt least you know you will be fully covered if you have to travel in any of those locations! Very interesting.
I just need some coffee in my kitchen, chocolate or caramel flavored with some vanilla caramel creamer. Color me happy!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Well, I hate coffee that is too strong. But I do love me a Mocha Frappaccino! Mmmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm even learning to enjoy the coffee as long as they can water it down for me real weak.
Vanilla Coffee is my favorite. With pumpkin loaf? Oh, I gotta try the Starbucks pumpkin loaf. Sounds yummmy!
Sometimes I wish I could bring myself to being a coffee drinker. It just doesn't taste as good as it smells. So instead I get high walking down the coffee aisle in the grocery store.
ReplyDeleteNeat to see the different architectural building styles of Starbucks from around the world. The one in Malaysia looks like an oversized outhouse!
Non-fat, no-whip pumpkin spice latte, BUT...I get a pumpkin muffin at Panera's, next door!! :-9
ReplyDeleteP.S. The nearest Starbucks for me is 45 min. away...I live back in the boonies!
ReplyDeleteThey have so many different varities that I often wish that I liked coffee!!! Oh well...my vice is diet coke! and ONLY diet coke!! and chocloate doesn't hurt either!
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge coffe fan but I do LOVE Starbucks Hot Chocolate! I did visit the original shop in Seattle a few years back, I love that city!
ReplyDeleteI'll have a grande, non-fat, two pump white mocha with whip... thank you very much...and maybe even an old fashioned glazed doughnut. : )
ReplyDeleteUgh. I so can't get into coffee!! Paul drinks it like water, and he LOVES anything flavored, but I just can't drink it. Every once in an extremely rare blue moon I will get one with lots of caramel and whipped cream, but I usually can't drink it all. I really wish I did drink it, cause I need the energy!!
ReplyDeleteJen
Wow, I had no idea Starbucks was so big! I mean I knew it was in many places but didn't realize it was soooo international!
ReplyDeleteI loves seeing those pix from around the world :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a starbuck lover and I know I am in the minority, but give me a cup of Dunkin Donuts any day, and I am in love : )
