Is It Just Me?

So is it just me or does everybody else seem to get a hole in their sock where only their big toe can pop through and be annoying?

Is it just me or does everybody else lose one shoe when they're in a hurry to leave the house?

Is it just me or does everybody else have toast crumbs in their butter or margarine?

Is it just me or does everybody else feel like they've gained five pounds overnight sometimes?

Is it just me or does everybody else get excited when their favorite magazine comes in the mail?

Is it just me or does everybody else's heart just seem to beat a little faster when they smell chocolate?

Is it just me or does everybody else lick the chocolate off their fingers instead of using a napkin like their mom taught them?

Is it just me or does everybody else have some pans that won't fit in the dishwasher and need to be handwashed?

Is it just me or does everybody else stay up past their bedtime when they know they shouldn't?

Is it just me or does everybody else get confused as to why you can get a cookie in your tummy in just a minute or two but it takes forever to get the effects of that off your tummy and hips?

Is it just me or does everybody else get behind on their laundry?

Is it just me or does everybody else ignore their laundry and get on the computer instead?

Is it just me or does everybody think that if you talk about doing your laundry it's as good as doing it, just because you're talking about it?

..........Just wonderin'.............

  1. Love it Nan!! Esp the pots fitting in the dishwasher - that's a nuisance isn't it? I stay up way too late and choose the computer way too much!

  2. Nope, just you :)

    Sorry, I just had to.

I can say yes to pretty much all of those. I don't wear shoes that require socks so that one doesnt work. And speaking of toast crumbs, I could be wearing a turtle neck jumper and still end up with toast crumbs in my bra... HOW ON EARTH??? perhaps that one is just me?

In fact I have what I call "company" butter that is crumbless because "our" butter is embarrassing! LOL
    Hugs.

  8. All of those things are definitely NOT just you. You don't even want to see the room that used to be my formal living room, which is now lovingly refered to as Mt. Saint Laundry. The sad part is that it is all clean....just piled sky high and wrinkled beyond recognition!

  10. No, it's not just you! Although I did start the final load of laundry going just before I left for work this morning. We now have a dirty-laundry-free house! Woo hoo! Is it just me, or does everybody get excited to feel caught up for once on that rare occasion when it finally happens?

Oh wait - that's only the laundry. The rest of the house is still a wreck. Oh well.

  11. Trust me its not just you!! Sometimes my laundry is piled so high I can't see the washer and dryer anymore! I dread those times I have to tackle that pile.

  15. Hi Nan!

My mother TAUGHT me to lick my fingers! Ha! Ha! He! He! He!

I once said to my sister that I notice I liked my fingers while Bill did not, and she said a very observant thing…women lick their fingers and men wipe there fingers on their pants. After she told me that, I noticed it was certainly true with Bill.

There is something about staying up late…One the weekends, I am always wanting something good to happen and I want a reason to stay up late.

    ♥Hope

  17. It isn't just you, but probably everyone. No one else would admit it all. In that case it's just you that would admit it.

I know it's not just me that misses her kid when she goes to camp. Is it only Tuesday?

    Hope you are feeling better.
