You're no bunny 'til some bunny loves you

People, people, people. Can I call you people? I know we don't necessarily know each other that well, but I feel like I know you well enough to call you people. I could call you People, if you prefer. Or Miss, Mrs. or Mr. People.

Anyway, I haven't cut chocolate out completely but I have cut down on it. Until my oldest found the hollow bunny for me. I love the hollow bunny. The hollow bunny is hallowed around here. At Easter time......and by the way, it's not even Valentine's Day yet so what are hollowed bunnies doing out????? Anyway, I love me some bunny.

I have to eat the ears first. It's all about the ears. I know it's sick, and to those of you who are repulsed and offended by my vicious attack on the bunny, I want you to know that he hit me first. Look at those wild, crazy eyes. Is there any doubt as to who was the aggressor here?

*munch, munch, munch* Yes. *munch, munch* He started it.

Oh, and you know those little fuzzy yellow marshmallow chicks? I rip their heads off and eat them, and leave their poor little defamed bodies for the rest of the family.

However, should we ever meet in person, I just want you to know that you're perfectly safe with me. Unless you're made of chocolate.

Or unless you look like this.

Ooops. Wrong chick. Sorry. I meant this one.

Oooops, wrong again. Well you know what I mean, right?

  2. LOL! Nan! I love chocolate too and yes, the ears are the first to go. That way he can't hear you walking up on him. The peeps and such are yucky. I agree. My hubby loves the peeps though. That is fine, give me the chocolate!

  3. As gross as they seem, I love marshmallow Peeps! They are my favorite Easter candy, and I have to have at least on pack of the yellow chicks. Not the pink bunnies or the purple chicks either....only the yellow chicks because they taste the best:)

  5. As much as I love chocolate, I've never been fond of the hollow bunny. Probably because I prefer my chocolate to be accompanied by caramel, nugget, nuts, etc. I think the worst kind of holiday candy is Cadbury Easter Eggs. Ever seen them? Chocolate in the shape of an egg, and the candy inside looks like an egg, complete with yellow yolk center. Gross! I feel a blog post coming on!

  8. I have to always ban those peanut butter eggs or the snickers eggs from my house. If they come in...well, let's just say it is not good :)

  10. I don't eat the bunny or the peeps. I don't like marshmallows, and I like something inside the chocolate. I eat all the jelly beans!

  13. How come I am sort of feeling sorry for that bunny? Crazy eyes and all...he needs some BUNNY to love him too. Do I need to come protect him?

  15. Nan,

As I was reading this post, I began to wonder just how you eat your hollow chocolate bunny and then realize that you too, eat it like me! The ears must go, then he can't here his cries for help!

As far as those marshmallow peeps and bunnies go, well it's pretty much the same thing, must silence all attempts to cry out for help!

Or wait, if they cry out for help, won't more come? Perhaps I should rethink my strategy!

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  16. One of the comic strips - was it Sally Forth? - used to always do an Easter bit about her eating the ears (and only the ears) off her daughter's hollow bunny every year. :)

  18. I am a lover of the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs that come in a carton. I admit to buying several dozen every year and swearing that the Easter Bunny brought them for me.
The Hollow Bunny is cute, but I am definitely a chocolate-marshmallow lover!

  25. Don't worry Nan. I'm 100% sure that the bunny started it! Doesn't it have a heart??? Oh, sure, on the outside he looks so sweet and innocent. But you and I know that underneath all the sweetness there's nothing. So, yeah, I believe you and I don't blame you for attacking. I would have to and I would have enjoyed every single bite of it.

  27. I much perfer solid, hard hitting, full fat chocolate bunnies. But hey, hollowed bunnies give a good punch too!

What about those little marshmellow chicks anyway. I totally love to eat the heads off or pull them till they break. Thankfully we don´t have them here in Spain.

I think you are little early for Easter though. LOL
