When's the last time YOU saw a rabbit?

So I have this theory...

But it's more than just a theory...

CUZ IT WORKS!

Next time someone you know has the hiccups, I want you to try something. Let the hiccups go on for a few moments so you know they're a REAL GOOD CASE.

Then...

simply...

Ask them "When's the last time you saw a rabbit?" They'll look at you like you're crazy. Keep talking til you get them to tell you whenever the LAST time was that they actually saw a real, live rabbit. Then ask them a few specifics about it. Try "What color was it?" "What was it doing?"

After about three questions, the hiccups are usually gone. But it could take up to five.

Anyway.... you should try it!

You just might be surprised. I've been using this method for 16 years, and I'd say its worked in all but maybe 3 cases EVER! Those are pretty good odds, don't ya think?

If it works for you, be sure to come back and tell us about it, okay?

So....when's the last time YOU saw a rabbit?

  1. That's easy enough, I'll have to try it next time. Hadn't heard about this one before so I'd like to share it on my Friday "Thins I Learned This Week" post at www.zemeks.blogspot.com with a link back here.

I saw a rabbit in the mountains a few weeks ago. It was brown and really fuzzy due to the cold. :o)

  4. Wait, I don't have the hiccups but for some reason I have the urge to eat a carrot! What are you doing to me over here. LOL!
I will definitely try that my friend. My son gets hiccups more than anyone.

  12. This is truly interesting and something I have to try, but what if I am the one with the hiccups, I don't think it would work well for me right?

I've tried just about everything else, holding my breath, sugar on a spoon and drinking while hoping not to hiccup anyways. It certainly is worth a try.

  13. Cute idea! I have tried drinking out of the opposite side of a glass before. Also tried holding my breath and swallowing three times. One mom swears by telling her kids to hiccup in her hands three times, lol!

  14. So according to your theory: thinking warm and fuzzy thoughts works better than scaring the pants off somebody (which doesn't work)? I like it!
