Did I Just Sing That Out Loud?

First of all, I think Bluetooth is a strange name for a phone. O.k., it's not really a phone exactly. It's an ear piece thingy that uses your phone. Or something like that.

But seriously. Bluetooth? Shouldn't it be called BlueEAR? Because if you talked on the phone long enough without taking a breath, wouldn't your face turn blue, not to mention your ear?

That said, I think I need one.

I mean, think about it. I could drive in my car and talk to myself all day long and no one would ever know about it. I could sit at the stoplights in my car and sing songs and talk and laugh, and people would think I was talking on the phone.

I could walk through grocery stores and talk to myself and no one would think it strange. They would just assume I was talking on my Bluetooth. My hair is long enough to cover my ears and I could probably pretend I have one and no one would know I didn't.

I need one. I just don't like sitting at stoplights, singing along to the cd (or the radio) and having people see me sitting in my car, all alone, and know that I am singing along to it.

It's kind of embarrassing.

It's kind of like singing in the shower. Only without the water. And of course, you're dressed and in a car with an audience next to you.

Who is laughing at you because you're all by yourself singing in a car.

Not that I sing in my car, of course.

Not that I talk to myself either.

That would be pathetic.

I never talk to myself........well, hardly ever and I never argue with myself because I always win and I am a sore loser.

If you want me I'll be in the car. Singing and talking to myself. Feel free to laugh and point.

  1. You want to know my new motto for this year? "WHO CARES!" LOL! I've worried about what people have thought about me for too long. I say have fun, talk to yourself, heck, answer yourself, sing in the car, better yet, sit dance in the car. (You know, the act of using the upper body to boogie)
Have fun. Go for it! Live life wide open! LOL!

This message was brought to you by Kim before her morning coffee. LOL!

    Love you my friend.

  4. It is funny to see people talk on those bluetooth phones when no one else is around them. It does look like they are talking to themselves. I have laughed at a many of them. But not in a make fun of way. It is just funny! that's all! I promise if I ever see you seemingly talking to yourself in your car that I will point and laugh. LOL

  7. Actually bluetooth is the name for the technology that allows us to wirelessly use anything weather it's cell phones without a wire attach, computer keyboards and mice, or even Ipods in our car. Weird word for a great technology.

Please stop by my blog today to enter in the final chances for this weeks giveaway if you have time!

  12. No blue tooth for me either! At work, I can never tell with the girls at the front desk if they are on the phone! And I have done what has happened to Bridget...answered someone thinking they were asking me a question, when actually they were asking someone on their bluetooth. :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!

  13. This is my credance -
It's okay to talk to yourself,
it's even okay to answer yourself,
but if when talking to yourself you say "huh?!!",
then you've become a definite redneck!!

    o;-p

  14. You are so funny!

I am not so big on those Bluetooth things...kinda reminds me of Star Trek.

Some of the best conversations I have had have been with just me, myself and I. LOL!

  15. I still can't get used to people using Bluetooth. If I see someone talking to themselves, I automatically think they've gone crazy. I forget about that they probably have something wedged in their ear. Boy, I sound like an old person. Don't I??? Talking about...Well, when I was a kid, we didn't fool with things in our ears. We actually used our arms to talk on the phone. Sheeese, kid's these days!!

I'm kind of an old fart like that. Thank goodness for cell phones though. I'm good with invention.
