I usually don't check my dashboard, but I always, always, always check my followers list to see if I have anyone new or if anyone has left me. Squeal? maybe, maybe not. I'm not telling. :-)

ReplyDeleteOne of my goals for 2010 was to get to 30 followers on my blog, and when I got a new one the other day, I secretly did a happy dance.

I don't always look at my followers, but I DO know how many I have. If I lose one (or more) I wonder what I did to cause them to leave!

ReplyDeleteIt is always exciting to have new followers....it just means that someone else actually cares what you are sharing and that is always nice:) I do hate when I lose a follower though...but it's not a huge deal!

I would LOVE to be able to do that!! I had an e-mail fiasco and one e-mail address shows I follow X number of people, etc. and the new e-mail address shows something else. When I try and re-follow people with the new e-mail, it says I'm already a follower! GRRRRRRR. I'm lucky I know how to do a post! You're too funny ~ ♥

ReplyDeleteI always get excited just to see comments!! Especially if someone is commenting on a regular basis. THAT makes my whole day!! It gives me that "You like me, you really like me" Sally Field feeling!
How could people ever leave you? You are the most faithful blogging friend that visits and comments at all of your friends almost almost every post. That is amazing to me. How do you do that? It really does make you feel special when people come back regularly and act like they really want to get to know you and be your friend. I think that is what commenting is all about, making people feel valued by making the time to extend your hand in friendship. You are such a great blogging friend Mimi!
